…and Interlaaken area

Interlaaken/112th/Idlewild: This project will bring a surface treatment to the road, new sidewalks/ADA upgrades, add streetlights, install a new water main for Lakewood Water District and add a new stormwater system to handle runoff.

• Traffic impacts: Road impacts are expected as early as next week. Residents may see a surveyor on site marking trees to be removed. Dead, dying or diseased trees will be removed, along with some healthy trees that fall within the project improvement area. Wherever possible, the city has routed the project to avoid tree removal with a goal to protect as many trees as possible.
