Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland statement

Tuesday, November 3rd is our General Election. No matter your party or your politics, I hope all across the South Sound can come together to vote and make our voices heard. Together, we will show our democracy works.

Despite what some in the other Washington say, we have a voter participation problem, not a voter fraud problem. Thanks to the incredible work of our local election officials, our vote-by-mail elections here in Washington are safe and secure.

If you're already registered to vote, you will receive your ballot at your address in October. You can return your filled out ballot to a secure, official drop box by 8pm on Tuesday, November 3. I also hope you will talk with your friends, family, and neighbors about their plan to be a voter in this November's election. If you or someone you know isn't registered to vote, it's quick and easy to register online at vote.wa.gov by October 26th. And you can register in person at any county election center through Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd. Thanks for being a voter and making your voice heard!
