Harry Todd Park disturbance - LPD

On June 24, 2026, at 8:20pm Lakewood Police Officers were dispatched to a

disturbance at Harry Todd Park (8928 N Thorne Ln SW). Callers reported a physical

altercation occurring in the park, during which several individuals reported hearing

two or three gunshots.

Upon arrival, Officers learned that two people may have sustained gunshot wounds;

however, neither victim remained at the scene. While conducting initial interviews,

Officers obtained a description of the suspected shooter and intervened in

additional physical altercations occurring in the park.

With assistance from a Puyallup PD K-9 team, officers conducted a track through

the park and located the suspected shooter. The individual, a juvenile Pacific Islander

male, was taken into custody without further incident. He was booked into Remann

Hall on two counts of Assault 1st degree and one count of Reckless Endangerment.

Officers later received confirmation that both victims had self-transported to local

hospitals. One victim, a juvenile Pacific Islander male, sustained a gunshot wound to

his left thigh. The second victim, an adult Pacific Islander female, sustained a

gunshot wound to her left foot. Both individuals were interviewed by Officers,

treated for their injuries and released.

This investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with additional information is

encouraged to contact the Lakewood Police Department Major Crimes Unit.
