“Hope for recluses”

[from a Contributor]

We'll have 8 hours, 29 minutes, and 20 seconds of daylight today when the sun finally rises at 7:51 am. That's 17 seconds less than yesterday.

But the losses are decreasing and will soon stop. Tomorrow we'll only have 12 seconds less sunlight and by the solstice on the 21st, we'll only lose 1 second.

And then, glory be, things will turn around. On the 22nd we'll get three whole seconds MORE light.
