New Lakewood couple slide onto embankment… and they are mute.

A couple that had just moved into Lakewood caught a mud patch and slide down onto a precarious edge.

As they are mute, arrangements had to be made to contact a tow truck.

A sign language-trained police officer assisted and recovered the blind mute husband from the vehicle.
