Reminder: November General Election Ballots due November 3 | piercecounty

This is the last week to return ballots for the November 3 General Election. Pierce County Election officials are encouraging everyone to vote now and use a drop box.

How to return your ballot

Use a Drop Box!  Drop boxes are convenient and secure. Ballots in a drop box by 8 p.m. on Election Day are guaranteed on time. There are 58 official ballot drop boxes open 24/7 throughout the county. Watch our ballot collection video to learn more. There are eight new drop boxes available this year.

If you do mail your ballot, know that the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) issued rules clarifying that the day a ballot is mailed may not be the day it is postmarked. If mailing within a week of Election Day, go in-person and request a manual postmark at the counter. If ballots are not postmarked on or before Election Day, they will not count.

Track your ballot

Sign up at VoteWA.gov to track your ballot and confirm it has been successfully received and counted.

You can register to vote in-person at the Pierce County Elections Office in Tacoma through 8:00 p.m. on Election Night. Two additional vote centers at Pierce College Puyallup and the Sprinker Recreation Center are open Oct. 31, Nov. 2, and Nov. 3. See hours of operation and other information here.
