Rep. Mari Leavitt invites 28th District residents to February town halls (tele + in-person)

Rep. Mari Leavitt (D–University Place) is excited to invite residents of the 28th Legislative District to join two upcoming town halls in February: a Tele Town Hall and an in-person Mid-Session Town Hall in DuPont. 

“These town halls are one of the best ways for me to hear directly from you,” said Leavitt. “Whether you join me by phone or in person, I hope you’ll bring your questions, your ideas, and what you’re experiencing in your community. Your voice helps shape the work we do in Olympia.”

Rep. Leavitt encourages and welcomes constituents to attend and share their priorities for the 2026 legislative session, providing her an opportunity to listen and learn from folks on a wide range of interests and including issues such as affordability, housing, education, public safety, transportation, and protecting critical services, and much more. She’s pleased to share special guests Mayor Ron Frederick and Police Chief Bryan Moore, who will present on community matters of DuPont.
