On December 28, 2025, the legal guardian of the children (Knowledge J. Norman, 11 years old, and Royal P. Norman, 7 years old) allowed their father unsupervised visitation with them during the holiday season.  The father was contacted by the children’s biological mother, Michelle L. Harvey, 34, who had been released from prison.  Harvey asked the father if she could take the children shopping and he agreed.  During this time, Harvey, absconded to Renton with the children and has told the custodial guardian, she (Harvey) has custody now and will not return the children.  The custodial guardian was awarded consent custody in Mississippi with signed consent from the mother four years ago.  The children reside with the legal guardian in Mississippi.  Washington State Child Protective Services doesn’t have an order or control related to the children. 

Currently, the mother, Michelle L. Harvey has a warrant for her arrest out of California and maybe armed with a firearm.  The children have both been entered into NCIC and South Sound 911 entered an Endangered and Missing Person Alert with Washington State Police.

If you know Michelle Harvey or have seen her with the children, please notify the local law enforcement immediately to their location.  Harvey and the children’s last known location was in the City of Renton.  Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. 

Michelle L. Harvey is 34 years old.  She is 5’10” with facial piercings.
